Fresh Energy. Community Manager (aka RE-AMP Commons Coordinator). I wrote digital copy, produced e-newsletters and other email marketing campaigns; participated in and managed virtual teams; plan and execute internal marketing campaigns using MailChip, Survey Monkey, and Higher Logic; collect and analyze analytics data from various email publications and from the Commons. October 2011-Present.
Minnesota Beard-Off. Founder and producer. Wrote copy for the website and 4+ years of social media marketing, virtually managed a graphic designer through logo and poster projects, orchestrate a (seemingly) flawless execution of the event on the night of; and expand to three new cities. But really, you should just read the case study. December 2009-present.
Aristotle Development. Freelance copywriter. Wrote copy for digital and print collateral, including product and service descriptions, company histories, and sales pitches. December 2010-October 2011.
Fourth Sector Consulting. Contract Proofreader/Web Communications Associate. Executed multiple tasks on a virtual team for the RE-AMP network (later hired as Commons Coordinator, see above); these tasks included writing and reporting on multiple internal email marketing campaigns through SurveyMonkey; editing digital video; and assisting with the analysis, writing, and editing of a final report. January 2011-May 2011.
Clockwork Active Media Systems. Content Strategist. Developed and implemented social media strategy for small business clients; wrote copy, edited existing copy, and produced a style guide for a Fortune 1000 client. April 2010-July 2010.
MORE Multicultural School for Empowerment website and promotional video. I wrote, from scratch, all the copy for this organization’s website and the script for their video for the Overnight Website Challenge. March 2010.
Transit for Livable Communities. Online Communications Coordinator. Planned and maintained the social media presence; wrote for and edited the blog; wrote for and published two monthly e-newsletters using The DataBank; wrote the copy for re-launch of bikewalktwincities.com; wrote ongoing updates to website text; wrote development emails, including the campaign listed below. January 2008-December 2009.
Email marketing campaign: GiveMN.org solicitation. (PDF) for Transit for Livable Communities. I wrote and scheduled this two day email campaign. It exceeded the fundraising goal by 40%. November 2009.
Thomsen Nybeck, PA. Wrote copy for a promotional brochure for a law firm on behalf of Aristotle Consulting.
