Art Allen is a freelance writer and editor in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He writes humor, arts and culture magazine features, blog things, and marketing copy. He is also experienced at running social media campaigns.
Art’s first printed byline for a publication for which he was not working was a letter to the editor of the Northeastern University News complaining about the number of pancakes the foodservice employees would give him at one time. He has never recreated the thrill or respect he achieved with that first publication.
His degree in political science may seem useless at this point, but earning it solidified his ability to meet multiple writing deadlines in a short period of time and it makes his home office look super classy.
